    ULI Kansas City is conducting a technical assistance panel (TAP) for the City of Shawnee on November 1-2, 2023. At the conclusion of the study, our panelists will share their findings and recommendations in a public presentation at the Aztec Shawnee Theater. We invite you to join us for this free community event! Registration is required.

    5:30-6:00 pm: Reception hosted by the Shawnee Chamber of Commerce 
     
    Study Background 
    Over the past five years downtown Shawnee, Kansas, has experienced unprecedented investment from both public and private sectors. As the area continues to evolve, the City of Shawnee and the Shawnee Chamber of Commerce are interested in exploring opportunities for future development within the Northwest quadrant of the district, anchored by the former Wonderscope Children’s Museum/Flint Elementary School building located at 5700 King Street.
