21-Day Equity Awareness Challenge
Diversity, equity, and inclusion are pillars of sustainable, thriving communities. Creating effective social justice habits – particularly those dealing with issues of power, privilege, and leadership – is similar to any lifestyle change. It begins with awareness and requires intentional effort.
ULI Kansas City and Turner Construction recently partnered to host a 21-Day Equity Awareness Challenge to help drive the industry towards transformational change. Each day we spent a few dedicated minutes reflecting personally and in groups to identify real actions we can take individually, at our company or organization, and as a community to address the inequities in the real estate and AEC industries.
