Defined by Ann Markusen and Anne Gadwa Nicodemus for the U.S. National Endowment for the Arts in 2010, the term “creative placemaking” refers to the process in which “partners from public, private, non-profit, and community sectors strategically shape the physical and social character of a neighborhood, town, city, or region around arts and cultural activities.” Holistically, placemaking is about creating a vibrant place for generations to come and a process that results in changes to the physical spaces around us – bringing people together to live, work and play.

How will a post-pandemic world, where social distancing measures continue to be in place affect the real estate industry? What are some of the long-term strategies around placemaking moving forward?

Join us as we hear from our panel of leaders in this week’s edition of the ULI Asia Pacific Digital Programme.
