CANCELLED – Working with Entitlements – Building Beacon Hill and KC Art Institute
Learn how entitlements are being used to build the Beacon Hill neighborhood and a residence hall/dining center at the Kansas City Art Institute.
Dan Musser, Executive Managing Director of Development Services at Newmark Grubb Zimmer will discuss these two significant Kansas City projects:
Musser is the master developer for the Beacon Hill neighborhood, a public-private partnership. The City of Kansas City, Mo. has invested more than $20 million in the neighborhood and when existing projects are completed, the private sector investment will total more than $150 million.
The Kansas City Art Institute (KCAI) broke ground in fall 2018 on a new student residence hall and dining center. Located along Warwick Blvd south of the campus gates, the building will house a 244-bed residence hall, the Wylie Dining Center and the Café Nerman.
Thank you to BKD, who is providing the venue and lunch.
Hosted by Etkin Johnson Student Outreach – open to all.
